About project
The project, awarded in 2022 at the international architectural competition, was created as an update of the Energy Efficient Concept from 2014, so the house is additionally energy independent. Stone house which fully respects the architectural forms and materials of the area (Istria) in which it was created. In the performance, we went so far in trying to preserve the autochthony and respect the natural environment that the stone used for the house was excavated from the plot. The house is fully functional for the life of two people, produces its own electricity, uses water from its own tanks, and is not connected to any network.
